I am not a tourist.

But sometimes I like to act like one!
A few weekends ago the bf and I went down to the famous Pike Place market. I haven't been there in FOREVER since I typically like to hole up in my cave during the winter. Sticking true to my AZN roots I just had to bring my camera to capture every moment.

Oh, and it was windy as hell that day, so no outfit photos. I'll do that some other time, which shouldn't be hard since I wear this outfit all the time.

NYC (from way back)

A collection of photos I took while in NYC for a business trip. Foodin' and boozin' I hardly call that work.

Ketchup (Catch Up)

Trying to create blog posts on the regular is tough. I've got a back log of pictures just waiting to be posted. In fact, there hasn't been snow on the ground for at least a month, that how old these pics are.

So many blog posts, so little time...
Oh well, I'll get caught up one day, maybe.

Not for nothing

It's a new phrase I learned while in NYC (more about that later). Apparently you use it before saying something harsh, to soften the blow. Like...

Say your hanging out with your friend and she's going through your closet-- like nosy friends do. And she pulls out your favorite dress of the moment. The one that fits you like a glove and has an awesome flower print. Of course she says, "This is so cute! Can I borrow it?" Now besides the fact that you haven't forgotten how she "borrowed" your Vanessa Mooney necklace and broke it in a drunken rage, she's also at least one dress size bigger than you. So you say, "Not for nothin', but you're 3 slices of pizza and a beer too big for my dress (that was her dinner)."

But the bitch takes it anyways!

Where the hell is your coat?!

I guarantee you that's what my mom will say when she sees this post. And let's be honest, she's probably the only person who reads this blog.

Ya, I Know. It's been a while.

If you care to hear my excuse, here it goes:

I've been interning at a fashion company for the past 3 months and now that my internship is over I've been hired full time! Getting used to the 8-5 grind is taking some time and finding time to hang out with my sister and do blog stuff is challenging. Maybe one day we'll get it together and have a successful blog with content uploaded on the regular... maybe one day my boyfriend will pay more attention to me than his video games (oops, did I say that out loud?... oh, well).

After a week long birthday celebration and numerous Christmas parties, I is pooped.

I allowed my broke self a little indulgence and bought this vintage textured sweater. Happy Birthday to me! Now all I got to do is buy everybody else Christmas presents with just over a week before Christmas... great.
